How does the "window effect" work? The base for this print is always satin-finished (frosted) glass. Normally, the surface is rough and opaque due to the satin finish. With glossy printing, we apply a special medium that acts like a sealant. It smooths the open-pored structure of the satin finish and eliminates the frosted effect precisely where it's applied.

The result: Your logo or design suddenly appears crystal clear and translucent amidst the matte white background. It looks as if you're looking through a small window into the interior of the glass.
